The Nordita Distinguished Visitor Program aims at attracting both senior and junior researchers for
extended visits (1-6 months)
For each academic year the visitorships will be anchored in one of the research areas represented at
Nordita. To encourage diversity, visits that can also connect to the other research lines present at
Nordita will be given special consideration.
Focus Research Areas
The overall focus research areas for the Nordita Distinguished Visitor Program for the next few academic
September 2021 - August 2022: High energy physics and cosmology
September 2022 - August 2023: Astrophysics and Astroparticle Physics (including a recent
effort to connect to Data-Science in astrophysics)
September 2023 - August 2024: Condensed matter, statistical and biological physics
